Chick-fil-A is a restaurant chain specializing in chicken sandwiches. It was founded in 1946 by S. Truett Cathy. The original Chick-fil-A restaurant was located in Atlanta, Georgia. The chain has since expanded to over 2,000 locations in 46 states and the District of Columbia. Chick-fil-A is the second-largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States, trailing only KFC.
